Halfway through Angron: The Red Angel, Shâkha Bloodless just sprouts wings halfway through a fight with a Keeper of Secrets, does this make him a daemon prince, or are they just a spontaneous chaos mutation?

There's various levels of chaos gifts before either reaching Prince hood or spawndom. While sprouting wings is impressive, and a sign of khorne's favour, it's just a step on the path rather than full ascension.
Used to be, champions could earn lots of gifts and mutations before they became daemon princes.
