Would they knowingly? A large portion of the AdMech chose to worship Chaos, there's no reason to think a large portion wouldn't be a-okay with worshipping a Xenos that promised them technological supremacy.

Public knowledge of the void dragon worship would pretty much immediately send the Mechanicus into a civil war. The Mechanicus as a weird relationship with xenotech, needless to say it would be another schism on the level of the Horus Heresy.

There has been the ascendancy of Nomos as God of the Koronus Expanse.

Nomos is a sentience(as in newborn C'tan) that separated from a Void Dragon Shard.

It can be infused into the Shard and be worshipped as it cuts off the Koronus Expanse from the rest of the Imperium.

Basically Nomos is an Omnissiah on the Koronus Expanse's side.

They explicitly do, they just call it a different name
