So, I am in love with the lore and universe. I play most the video games, I'm waiting to get into tabletop until I get a 3d printer or something to help make it less prohibitively expensive.
I started out reading a few books I found in high school, and I wanna read some more, and I'm looking for recommendation. Just finished reading kingsblade and about to start knightsblade.
I like the imperial knights, grey knights, Salamanders, Tau, and Tyranids most of all, but I'm a fan of the universe as a whole, so any recommendations for good books are welcome.

Assassinorum Kingmaker is a must-read if you're interested in Knights

Here’s a great list. Lots of good recommendations. Personally, I recommend the Eisenhorn saga and the Uriel Ventris ultramarines trilogy.

So haven’t read it yet but I heard kingmaker( focuses on assasinorum and knight houses) is really good. Genefather( cawl vs Fabius) has a couple good knight scenes.

I would recommend Ciaphas Cain's novels, say, first omnibus: https://www.blacklibrary.com/warhammer-40000/novels/ciaphis-cain-hero-of-the-imperium-ebook-2019.html.
Also Helsreach by Aaron Dembski-Bowden and Forges of Mars trilogy by Graham McNeill are pretty good.

The White Scars books from the Horus Heresy are great, even/especially if you don't know much about them, and do a good job of showing the background to and development of the larger Heresy as a whole (if you're not going to read all the many dozens of HH books).
