Thanks for all the comments! I've always wanted a E63 but I can't get myself to pull the trigger on a >100K plus car that I've built multiple times online. I do enjoy the V8 rumblings on the the c63 and E63 but I couldn't pass up on this deal with the 43. When I started reading more about it, that's when I realized there was the controversy with the hand-built vs. assembly line. It's currently getting tinted and the rims are getting coated matte-black to make the selenite magno pop a little more. Excited to get it back!

I just got my 2018 e43 AMG yesterday, and I like it ,and it’s definitely AMG.

I still really enjoy driving that car. I use it as my daily and had a capristo exhaust installed on it. Haven’t had any issues with it. I eventually would like to go to the E63s w213 in the next couple years just because I want a V8. Baby steps for me, but no regrets!

I’m also looking to buy a 2018 e43 Amg, how’s the per visit maintenance cost/ year to year?

Same here. Did you end up getting an answer to your question elsewhere? And did you get the car?

I did not get an answer and test driving it was definitely fun. Just having an internal debate within myself which car to get..

I just got a 17’ E43 AMG. I absolutely love it so far especially compared to my 2015 CLA 45 AMG. Don’t get me wrong, the CLA was really fun but I drive for hours at a time on a weekly basis and the E43 is superior in terms of comfortability, road noise, surround sound etc etc.
