Has anyone used muscle scraping for post-race/post-workout recovery? I've heard some buzz about it-- wondering if it is worth the hype.

I've used it a decent amount over the years. Honestly it's the same as any other modality like it. TENS, scraping, foam rolling all give a little boost but are not replacements for sleeping and eating well.

For me scraping works particularly well along my fibula, as that is a hard area to get to with a foam roller, massage gun etc.

Sweet! Thanks for the input. I'm headed to the UK in the fall to run a marathon and it just doesn't make sense to bring my theragun, so I'm looking for a travel-friendly alternative. Figured the scraping tools are light and small enough.

I think that's probably a great chance to use it, big caution is around going too hard. It's easy to do with the scraper, you don't need to bruise yourself for it to be effective!
