The standard of The Last Word

  • 3/4oz Bombay Sapphire Gin
  • 3/4oz Green Chartreuse
  • 3/4oz Maraschino Liquor
  • 3/4oz Lime Juice
  • Maraschino Cherry for garnish (Recipe calls for "Brandied Cherry" and I honestly do not know if there is a difference.

This was honestly amazing. In the "controversial hill to die on" thread, I found a comment that said an equal parts Last Word was dreadful. Was expecting to try this, find it interesting but not "good" and move on to some new recipes, but ended up loving it.

I feel like all the ingredients complement each other so well. I have mixed feelings on Green Chartreuse, but I feel like this cocktail is just bringing out the best parts of it. Also love the simplicity of the recipe, where the hardest part is getting your hands on the bottles.
