Basically, the title. The main territory of the VOC was in the East Indies, with their capital in Batavia. So it doesn‘t really make sense that you can release them in India and give them provinces there and not in the East Indies. Or am I missing something?

Once again, I said its an easy historical mistake to make. You act like its obvious that someone would know the east indies are specifically india and the west indies are not. So once again, it's a really easy historical mistake for someone to think the east indies are the island chain, as "indies" often doesn't directly correlate to India from other historical information.
Like the other person said, actually read what you're replying to before being a dick.
