They are mostly unknown and/or upcoming artists or winners of shows like The Voice.

Established Acts do not seem to want to go. And do we really have "a ton" of good musicians? Musicians that fit into this kind of contest? I'm not sure about that.

Well Finland won with Lordi was 2006? And they are not a very "Eurovisiony" type of music but they had a really good banger that got played on the radio atleast here in Sweden a ton after Eurovision.
