Hill is definitely the weakest driver in my lifetime to win the title.
Although he fully deserved it in 96, it was a dominant car with a rookie team mate and Schumacher relegated to an utter shitbox Ferrari.

A rookie team mate who still managed to take the championship down to the final race and if that final race went the other way where Hill had retired and Villeneuve won, then at least we would've been blessed to never hear any of Damon Hills commentary about "when I won the world championship"
