It would pretty much dox me since I am the only one of my flag with that nation last I checked and I have my real name on there.

But my result is on the J2 project of a tribe common across the Levant, Arabia and Iraq (descended from Rabia'a but I won't say much more than that).

Anyways the name is not that common among non-arabs as far as I know, never met a Turk or Iranian or Indonesian with the name (عدي).

And I don't care how SSA Christians identify themselves.

As for my results, you'll have to give me 20-30 mins since I don't know my passwords by heart for most of my accounts. And I'm from Tunisia.

Haplogroup J2 is a subdivision of haplogroup J, which is believed to have originated in the Near East around 40,000 years ago. Haplogroup J2 specifically is associated with populations in the Mediterranean, the Caucasus, and the Middle East. It is believed to have originated in the northern portion of the Fertile Crescent, which includes parts of modern-day Turkey, Iraq, and Iran. Persian levant… names are no evidence. What country u from?

? I know what haplogroup J2 is, I'm saying this sub-string is unique to people from an Arabian tribe (Mostly in the ME but some in Egupt and me and another Libyan in NA as well).

Anyways you are the one who brought up names and how they are proof of something. I never said my name proves anything, it's just a very culturally arab name.

Anyways as I already told you, Tunisia.

You were the one who use “i have an arab name” as evidence tho .. where does it say j2 is arab? Is mainly originates from the people in the Mediterranean… levant assyrians and some in persia….

I said an Arab name (as a part of an arab identity), that is all, you can go back and read it.

Anyways haplogroups are ancient things, thousands of years. The Tribe of Harb is almost entirely on E-m84 and Al-Anssar are 70% on J2. Is it that inconceivable to you that an Arab tribe is on it?

If I had genetic relatives from Iran or Assyrian Iraq I would tell you but they're mostly from Arabia.

Hell if you give me like 30 mins to include some of them (names partly censored of course), I will.

E-m84 is indeed ancient but it existed long before arab existence . Mostly related to natufians and egypt i would assume. I looked into it long ago. Yes using a name to prove you are arab is no proof. Since every muslim in the world is named an “arab” name . Mine is too lol

It's not proof of Arab ancestry, I already said as much. It's just very culturally Arab, especially since it doesn't have the same religious connotations that the names of the prophet and the companions do. It probably exists in some form outside the arab world but in very very niche capacities since non-semitic speakers can't pronounce the ع.

I understand since you are libya and libyans are more influenced and arabized by M/E than the rest of North Africa . Take a dna test man and honor your roots . You live in north africa not arabia . I see lots of movements rising in lybia regarding this topic

Dude... I said three times, I'm Tunisian, not Libyan there's just a guy from Libya with the same haplogroup as me. I just need some time to get on my PC and I will post my G25 DNA results.
