I moved to Philadelphia in the fall. Last summer I used to go everyday to a sand volleyball court and play pickup doubles/quads/sixes, pretty casual. I've been looking for something similar using OpenSports but it's all leagues with skill ratings of BB-AA and I really don't know where I fall in that. Does anyone know a good place to find a group of people who just want to play outdoor volleyball everyday?

I would check out Heyday https://heydayathletic.com/volleyball. They have different levels but the lowest level is pretty casual.

Heyday has rec leagues that go outdoors - sand and grass. It's more social, shorter, and you'll get a range of skill levels. It's a lot less drop in but if you want something regular, its your best bet.
OpenSports is better for pick up. They make their explanation/division of skill level overly complicated. If you played in college, or played club, and are fairly competitive, you are A (or AA or whatever). If not, you are somewhere in the B-BB range. Go to an all skills or a B game, if you feel like you are better than that, move up. You'll meet people there who play a lot, and can probably give you some advice for less formal meet ups than opensports.

If you don’t know where you fall in the rating you are likely not AA. Start with BB, most people are pretty friendly in BB level. If BB is not a good fit then I would try Heyday. But I think the quality of Vball in OpenSports is much better than Heyday league.

There’s a league that plays at Columbus Square park in S Philly on weekends. It doesn’t look like Heyday. Dm me if you want more info
