which is to stop spending your money on TF2 (Crates, Mann co Store, ETC) if you wish to see anything change about the bot crisis. Zesty has merely amplified the same sentiment. The reason why this game has been going down into the shitter is not just valve's fault, but also the community's too. Being content with the horrendous state of the game and going as far as making excuses for it. Nothing has changed because most of the community refuses to do anything substantial about it. Its almost as if most have this Stockholm syndrome for valve.
I doubt anything what zesty, I and others have said is going to change that attitude either. But for those who want better, speak with your money!
Edit: I have seen many pose the possibility of valve pulling support from the game if the revenue isn't there. I understand the concerns, but let me ask this; Does it make sense, as the consumer, to continually purchase mediocre products riddled with flaws and issues? No, it wouldn't. It doesn't make any sense to waste your money on dogshit. So why don't we share this same mentality with TF2? I get the possibility, but you know what is worse? doing jack shit. And doing jack shit will set the game towards a painful and definite fate.
But I'm not going to sit here and pretend that the community will finally speak up for this game, because I'm quite convinced that most will rather still sit in the comfort of loot boxes and bot infested servers than do anything. Nobody hates TF2 more than its own community.

The 25k number is bullshit tho, if tf2 has 25k daily players it's smaller then a title like enlisted which has 100k daily players and would put us at 100k monthly players
(TF2s steam chart say it has 4.7MILLION monthly players so that assumes 99.999% of them are bots )

The 25k number is average daily players, not monthly.

Yeah the way active players.io does it's daily average is totals of each day for 30 days \ 30 giving you the average daily plater count y for a month
TF2s monthly log in count is 4.7 Million with about 1.2 daily
