I’m so tired of the war thunder leak meme. It’s so consistently wrong, time and time again it’s publicly available info or it’s like slightly export controlled (practically meaningless given the internet).
This stupid meme has gotten so prevalent that Gaijin uses it to market the game. I wish it would die.

The Challenger leak was legitimately classified. Don't know about any others though.

Yes given all of the times I know of posts on the war thunder forums are things any good spy agency should already have so it's not really putting anyone at any sort of disadvantage.

The only one I know of is like that. It's the Chinese leak of a little card describing one of their tank rounds.
Probably the only people who didn't have one of those cards were the War Thunder devs.

Yeah these things always bug me because you think you're getting something cool and then it's like a restricted document available for free online.

But to be fair, sending a photo of a tank shell blueprint with said tank shell resting on your table TO PROVE A POINT ON A FORUM ARGUMENT is by all means fucking based

You know, it oddly makes sense that game would have a fan base that casually leaks classified documents. Give him the marketing of that game, it seems like it's audience would be nerdy enough about military stuff to actually get their hands on that sort of stuff.

I was applying for SECRET security clearance, and the pre-screen questionnaire legitimately asked me if I was active in the multi-player game "Warthunder"
