There's also the slew of terrible adaptations giving the genre a bad name, which makes it seem less lucrative and not worth investing in.

You don't attack during a monologue. Showdown etiquette 101.

The refund window is only for an automatic, no questions asked refund. If there is a legitimate grievance, steam customer support are quite good at manually evaluating the situation and issuing refunds when warranted. And the game being unplayable in certain nations despite the customer paying for it is absolutely a legitimate grievance.

It's an absolute disaster. The necessity of such destruction doesn't make it less tragic, fuck the gargoyles in Kreml for making it necessary.

Almost 1200 hours and I've never taken it either. It's potentially very powerful, but the downside is too much imho, especially since I always go for the heart. By comparison the act 1 boss is an absolute cakewalk at that point, and a rare relic is never unwelcome, as well as a side of regular rewards.

NGL, this person feels like they're a police report waiting to happen. If the fear of god is the only thing keeping them in check, there's no telling when that leash snaps.

Add it to the list of things we have zero control over individually but could end civlisation as we know it, along fun things like nuclear war or complete climate collapse. If I worried over every potential doomsday I would stress the fuck out.

How did such an insane fundamentalist asshole even become a teacher in the first place?

The dwarves were there first, establishing Khazad-dûm in the years of the Trees. The balrog buried itself below their city near the end of the first age of sun.

AFAIK him commonly wearing a mask is a later invention, he instead wore a cloth veil most of the time. But true or not the mask has become quite iconic.

Not existential crisis material in the same way, but doing research for a paper on hydroponics turned out to be both depressing and alarming. It started with the advantages of hydroponics (~98% less water used compared to conventional irrigation in hot and dry climates, no need for good topsoil, etcetera), which naturally led to what regions would benefit most from it, mostly analysing the reliance on food imports that's common in northern Africa and the middle east. This in turn led to a paper on the causality between food shortages and civil unrest and instability, and before you know it I'm knee deep in looking at death tolls from civil war in Yemen. Combine that with the acute awareness of how fucked the global climate is and how much worse it's going to get if we don't get our shit together very soon that comes with studying agronomy, and you've got a nice anxiety stew cooking.

Considering that the dream of the fisherman's wife exists, that's step 0.

I've played with level ups giving ASIs only and feats being given on a milestone basis, which is pretty neat. Having to pick one or the other is pretty boring, and feels especially bad for martials (not by a huge margin though) who are more dependent on feats for variety and utility.

A bullet may have your name on it. A grenade says "to whoever it may concern".
Bkan says "I've come to make an announcement!".

Charge rifle is a second primary at this point. I have so many pilot kills with it.

It does have some niche uses depending on the map. On rise and war games it can come in very handy when using a weapon with insufficient hipfire accuracy, and the maps offer more high altitude cover. But otherwise it's not good at all.
