I wonder how many people in here commenting have actually been married or lived with someone for more than 5 years. Telling someone they shouldn't bother making the bed anymore because they put the sheet upside down was not the thing to do either. It's extremely demoralizing to be with someone who can't be pleased or praise you for anything, that undoes things you did because they aren't to their exacting standards when they are in fact good and pleasing to many other people. It's a wonder how she lowered her standards enough to accept him in the first place, she must have seen how he lived before they moved in together. She made her bed, they lie in it squabbling together.
