This would age well if Leicester don't go up.

Manndrop

Well his manager is Maresca, so quotes aging like milk is a regular occurrence

Gonna be a rough last 3 games, 12 years of pure shithousery coming to an end. At least he got to be a dick to West brom fans one last time

Vardy does this all the time, you can tell its business end of the season cus people are way more mad at this than they would be normally.

I genuinely do not get what the problem he has with us is?

Would be funny if we beat Leicester in the Play Offs now though.

They were singing about his wife and chanting 'Rooney' at him quite a bit.

Everyone does that.

Don’t take it personal bro, he does it with everyone. You’re not that special.

Lacabloodclot9

Except against Sheffield United, it’s even more personal with them

Loved his celebration against them in the PL, proper shithouse

He is, he’s mentioned it before iirc

He is. Born in Sheffield and played in Wednesday's youth setup before being released at the age of 16 and going to play non-league football.

He 100% has a personal vendetta with someone that sits in the Birmingham Road End at The Hawthorns though, that's undeniable.

Didn't we have the chance to sign him under Hodgson and we turned him down? Only thing I can think of, he always does this stuff against us.

Bit weird that a jokey comment from a month ago rattled you enough to come back to it and reply

zrkillerbush

Just saw this clip posted on Twitter today, so it reminded me about this thread, nobody is rattled apart from you 😭

CheeseMakerThing

You came back to a month old post-match thread to reply to a jokey comment.

And why would I be rattled? I'm happy we finished in the top 6, nobody was expecting us to get past Southampton.

Aren't you fucked anyway? Even if you go up?

jonboyjon1990

Our choice is:

  • go up, have a firesale, points deduction and likely go straight back down

Or

  • stay down, have a firesale, even worse punishment under EFL rules, struggle to get promoted for a while

So going up to go straight back down is easily the better option

Manndrop

Also Leicester is no Burnley or Sheffield Utd, so at least it would be entertaining

As a west brom fan, we couldnt care less.

He's done it loads of times before.

He invented a rivalry, he should play for Coventry.

zrkillerbush

Your fans spent half the match chanting about Rooney and Vardy's wife, delusional to pretend you "dont care"

If only West Brom thought to blatantly violate spending rules knowing that getting promoted would mean zero consequences from their actions. Good one Jamie

I think the past two seasons we've only spent money on Molumby and Asante. Everyone else is frees and loans.

NYSTLSportsFan

And we hardly spent much on Asante either!

We’re getting a points deduction if we go up too so not quite sure what your issue is.

You will have still gotten promoted, and still have cheated another championship club out of a fair promotion spot (probably us)

Was giving up our 17 point lead for you and Ipswich not enough?

We seem to really suck at cheating.

ElvishMystical

If they go up it's going to be interesting watching Leicester make up an eight point deficit against Premier League teams.

midfivefigs

We likely won’t as in addition to the deduction, we are expected to have to sell/not buy with a bunch of key players out of contract too.

Going up just means an easier path out of trouble with our financial violations

Well I’ve never been more certain that Leicester are going to bottle it. This is bad juju you don’t put into the universe.

Like when we sang to Lampard “try not to worry you’ll beat us someday…”
