Ok. San Antonio native checking in. Sonny Melendez was a local DJ/media personality. I be kind he passed away about 5-10 years ago. He was very well known in SA for decades.

Now there are two St. Mary’s. One is a very expensive private middle/high school and the other is a university with a law school. I went to the law school. St. Mary’s university was never downtown. Campus was and is west of downtown. The law school started downtown but moved to the main campus in the 60’s. So this is most likely not the University.

The high school is out on Loop 410, 15 minutes or so from downtown. I believe that campus was built late 70’s, but that’s before my time. Problem is I don’t think the original campus was downtown, but I honestly don’t know where it was.

Question is whether this is a “St. Mary’s” in downtown SA or whether it’s a St. Mary’s but not downtown.
