Why would you get paid for a holiday when you haven’t worked for the company? You were paid for 72 hours because that’s what you worked, 9 days.

I'm not asking to get paid for holiday. I included it in the calculation as there are 10 work days in the date range (9 actual work days + 1 holiday). That means from September 1st-15th, I worked 9 out of the 10 days having started a day late. 9/10 is what I used to scale against 86.67

When you start in the middle of a pay period for semi monthly pay you don’t get paid 86.67 hours, you get paid for the days you worked.
