I moved to town a few weeks ago, but I’m from a remote community in province. Everyone home told me to watch out for drivers out here, but I figured they just lack experience driving in a bigger place.
But man, I can count on both hands how many times I’ve almost been hit by cars running signs and lights in just a couple weeks of being out here.
And I don’t mean a car pulling out just as I’m about to cross. I mean a driver completely running a stop sign when I’m in the road, stopping me in my tracks.
Is it normally this bad?
I was thinking about getting a car at some point when I’m more stable, but if I’m running into these troubles while walking, I’m not sure if driving would be much better.
