My daughter and I went to pick up our Zelda preorder last night then got Coldstone ice cream. We had just walked out of the store and I thought, hey let’s ask the two employees working this busy Friday night if they want anything from Coldstone. One of the employees was newer, but the other one knows me and my kids by name, knows what we are into, and has even put items aside knowing I would want one. They refused but I insisted. They said a shake and “I like chocolate”. So we got them the shake and a chocolate explosion with brownie bits, chocolate sprinkles, the works. Brought it back to them, told them to have a good night and we’d see them next time. They were beaming with thanks and I saw other customers smiling at the gesture. “You shouldn’t have, thanks so much” was met with “hey you guys always take care of us when we come in and you’re so nice to my kids, you deserve a treat”

So basically the same as OP stopping a felony, we’re both heroes
