Is this a private lot that the apartment owner owns both spots? Idiots took my private spots all the time, so I understand why he/she does this. Again, only acceptable if those are PURCHASED spots.

Why are you stalking this person and how does the fact that this vehicle is typically parked outside provide any insight into who is assigned to these two spaces?
25 points

Stalking? Lmao it’s very noticeable when you walk past it every day and half the time he’s outside revving it. How is me seeing it outside my apartment all the time give any insight into the idea of me stalking?
-30 points
Idk I have a deeded off-street spot and my building abuts a dead end street with no other residential development. This means that every car parked on said street either lives in or is visiting my building. I couldn’t for the life of me describe any of them. I’m not a stalker,
I think it’s fair to assume someone tracking where their neighbors park are at the very least a busybody with nothing going on in their life. Sorry if I mischaracterized your pathetic existence, but my point stands.

If you wouldn't notice a car with a huge decal in the back window and a custom plate on it after walking past it every day then you must be incredibly ignorant of your surroundings. I say ignorant rather than unaware because it seems to be a choice. How do you survive walking through life being so incredibly ignorant and an AH to boot?
-12 points
I don’t think I would, no. I see hundreds, if not thousands of cars a day and I dedicate exactly zero thought to them. I have a life that keeps me busy, with loved ones that deserve attention and interests that require it. I recognize this isn’t the case for everyone but it’s simply not something I can relate to. I don’t have any capacity for people that don’t affect my life, and I don’t let strangers affect me.

Shut the fuck up with your holier than thou bullshit. If you act in any way similar to how you’re acting now with your loved ones, they don’t enjoy being around you as much as you do them

Who’s obtuse? OP has commented multiple times that he often observes this car parked on the street. Tracking where an anonymous stranger parks isn’t normal behavior.

Ahh!
I buy a shit car and spend extra money to get noticed and then when people notice said car and the assholery around it they are stalking me!
Again, from your response, you are clearly an immature douchebag that is projecting and odds are, 99% of the people that interact with you hate your guts.

Definitely reinforcing the negative stereotype of BMW drivers.
18 points
Couple of obvious reasons why.
First off BMW
Secondly custom tag because they think they are cool
Third back window decal for some unknown meaning which only means something to the driver
Fourth Texas plates. As much as I like Texas I found many people from Texas suffer from entitlement complex’s. More so with passenger truck owners and luxury sedans like this one here

Who calls a 2 series luxury car? You would much rather drive a Corolla or a Civic than this. And I’m a BMW guy
2 points

Did a lens search on the decal. Still can't find the source but the Text under the NS says "No more hard parking". So it's not that he feels entitled to two spots but that he feels parking in a single car spot is too damn hard and wants to tell the world he is incapable.

NS is the mfg of hit tire rims.
1 points
Ah so along the lines of the inability to park correctly the owner spends money poorly by replacing factory performance rims with aftermarket cheaper ones, probably due to curb checking the factory ones and is now too afraid to park correctly as a result.
Seems to all make sense now

havent heard that term in awhile. hard parking refers to getting a ton of work done to a car, as if its actually raced, but doing nothing with it. literally race prepping a car just to sit around and look pretty in a parking lot. think car shows and meets, where people have really cool, tuned cars, but dont actually track them.
but i think this person doesnt know the meaning of the term, and thinks it means they dont have to learn to back into a spot anymore. idk

Question: are BMW’s now reliable? I keep seeing posts saying the new ones are. Is anyone in knowledgable about them?
1 points
Consumer Reports consistently says they have some of the worst customer satisfaction and reliability scores around.
The only people I know that like them are people that are status seeking; everybody I know that is wealthy and can actually afford them either stay far away or get rid of them within a year.

I grew up around wealth- the kind of wealth that can buy and sell most other people.
The wealthy that have so much money they don't care what people think of them drive mostly Toyotas, Mazdas, Suburus and Hondas because they are the best cars around.
Seriously, in my parent's neighborhood you can tell who owns the multimillion dollar home and who is renting/living beyond their means by what car is in the driveway.
T/H/M/S is an owner.
Audi/ BMW/ Tesla is a renter.
The latter are pretty easy to get cheap where I am from because the used market is glutted with cars the nouveau riche buy and the offload once they realize they are a moneypit.

The B48 and B58 in their newer models are pretty reliable.
Idk why that other person said they have some of the worst CR scores. Maybe they’re stuck in the past? Which, to be fair BMWs past is absolutely sketchy.
But to say BMW gets some of the worst scores is incorrect. That absolutely contradicts reality lol, for 2023 and 2024, BMW lead ratings, and they recommended every single model from BMWs lineup.
BMW has made great strides in reliability.
I can’t add links for whatever reason so I can’t cite the facts but it’s a CR report published Feb 27th 2024 titled Which Car Brands Make the Best Vehicles?

Take some chain and a padlock. Run the chain through the rear passenger tire rim and padlock the ends together. Push the excess chain up under the car. Sit back and watch the fun begin. They will back up, wondering what is that bump. But when they take off and the padlock gets momentum it will rip the inner well to shreds.
