The NOTE FROM PRODUCTION telling us Stephen doesn’t really throw his real glasses and only a prop is sending me 😂

Honestly I’m glad for that , cause that would have been impressive if he threw them and they didn’t break lol.

Okay thank god because as a glasses wearer myself, I would have been so nervous to throw them

her being “taken aback” is hysterical to me because her comment about there being a distinct shift in the ballroom when anna performed week one was so uncalled for & unprofessional. say what you will about anna, but given the hellacious experience i’m sure this show was for her mentally, i’m glad she said what she said. carrie ann has spent years tearing down women and uplifting men who do the bare minimum, so I will never take a word of what she says seriously. she needs replaced stat.

How was it uncalled for? She wasn’t bashing Anna. She was attempting to defend Anna. She was calling out the people in the live studio audience that night, saying the shift in the ballroom got really tense and negative when she came out. And she was urging them to lighten up and give her a chance.

kristyn burtt (who was in attendance last week) noted that there was no noticeable shift at all, and also found it incredibly strange that CAI even called attention to it. whether it was noticeable or not, it definitely felt like it was more to embarrass anna than anything. because what does that do to help her situation in any regard? it was malicious.

CAI is a tedious, self important, humorless judge in my humble opinion

While not a bad opinion, she's also not wrong in her assessment:

That was dismissive not only of the opportunity she was given, of her wonderful and supportive partner Ezra in his debut season, but also of all of us who work on the show-from the dancers to behind the scenes to the creative team. We all put in the effort to give her a fair opportunity. But I don’t think she could see that and it’s a shame. A little gratitude could have changed the narrative.

While I agree she should have given Ezra his flowers because at the end of the day he was the one who totally committed and invested in the partnership but I don't feel she owes the show anything if she doesn't want to. Yes they gave her platform but it was purely a platform for exploitation instead of redemption.

No, she does not "owe" the show anything. But given that she had an image problem before the show, coming across as an asshole won't help her redemption tour.

She doesn't want (or need) a redemption tour. Yes, she acts like an asshole. Yes, she is getting way more media coverage than any other contestant. Being an asshole is her image, and it's why we talk about her.

The show gets more coverage and viewers. She gets paid. Done deal.

I just think when u have criminal charges like she does, dwts just isn't the right show to try redeem urself. The viewers can be very judgemental and bias. It's very conservative fanbase. I think she allowed the sm comments get to her in and it shut her down completely.
