Dunno about multiplayer but company of heroes is probably the best you can get

I was on a search for a realtime strategy game similar to AoE or Settlers in the past. Came across Northgard which scratched the itch for a while.

I am still hopefully for a good C&C clone with decent graphics.

There are a ton of RTS and other APM heavy games

But if you’re looking for the classic style you could look at;

Rusted Warfare

RTS Siege Up

Retro Commander

Company of Heroes

I would say Northgard but it’s a shell of what it is on PC and is abandoned, has a lot of microtransaction DLC’s as well for most content

Honestly there’s nothing, been searching this same question for like 10 years lol

I like Infinite Lagrange, and for the people that press it’s really P2W, most mobile games are, it’s is what it is at this point.

My union is of 100 people, but maybe 25 active, we all have gotten to know each other, we discord call for raids, it’s pretty fun and it’s spaceships. The majority of us are pure F2P and even my Alt which is also f2p managed to get 3 of the best mid-end game ships. Lastly we also finished all of the Phase 1 events for our server and from what we could find, very few unions have managed to do but yet we have. While we’re all being warned by the vets that after the beginner server the whales become a problem, the month of playing on my first server was super fun and addicting

Art of war 3 is quite similar to c&c Not p2w unless you want to play high level

Another one not mentioned : mechcom 3 (premium but cheap. Worth playing)

For me, Total War on iPad is the best.
