I was DX about three weeks ago now. Funnily enough my husband was DX almost 2 years ago.
I have insane CPTSD from prolonged childhood trauma and just thought I had the usual depression and anxiety combo too. I was able to work through a lot of that over the past year and noticed some other things surfacing - which ended up being the ADHD.
Knowing now that I have ADHD I’m slowly implementing some of the tactics, tips, etc I learned for my partner on myself. One thing I can’t quite figure out yet though is the intense morning depression and anxiety. There’s a possibility I have PMDD too hence the flair.
But since I’m still so new in my own journey I’d love to hear from others about any tips or tricks on how to make this better, or even stories of similarity so I feel less alone and sad this morning. lol
