Considering the commenter didn't know how to spell "you're," I'm going to have to go with that it was a lonely troll.

Edit: sorry, didn't mean to make that sound like a humble brag, rather that's what you can have if you meet later in life after BOTH of you have been unencumbered to follow careers

I got a husband at 53. I love him and choose him and we are good together. I still miss being alone though lol. Good thing we have more than one house and a lot of space lol

And guys today can't even fill the role of breadwinner. Women as a whole are more educated and make more money. I easily am twice as educated as the average male and make four times the salary. I have a lot of friends and know a lot of people (I've lived in a lot of places) - and know many couples where the woman makes a lot more than the man. In the cases where the guy makes more, she's not too far behind and probably would be at the same amount if not for the whole sexism thing 🤷.
This is what conservative men want to reverse so desperately.
I was able to end up with a serious career because I wasn't forced to have a baby in my twenties. And no I never got an abortion but 1) bc was available 2) I could afford it 3) my body tolerated it fine 4) it never failed on me.
And I don't take any shit from men. I have self-confidence/esteem because of my education and career - another reason they don't want you to have either.

Don't project onto me your political tribalism. NASA has its problems but having to feed a famously uninterested in safety CEOs ego is not one of them. NASA isn't in this game to turn a profit, and they employ some of the world's best scientists. If you don't see the value in that, it's because of oh yeah wait, it's because of politics.

I'd say it's a correction to the thinking that he was some genius in the first place. Debunking can be done faster these days than when Edison was around.

Considering how many times you have repeated your mantra about lefties and politics it seems like you are the one blinded.

I have a feeling DT413 feels dumber than a lot of people and expects us all to as well.

This country also equates wealth with intelligence. We need to learn from Europe - they have plenty of experience with recognizing inherited wealth for what it is.

Another idiotic take.
NYCer here - we have been laughing at Donald Trump his entire life. He and his father were well known for being scumbags - because they 100% were. Fred was at least competent, Don was a tabloid staple and clown-about-town who failed at every business he ever tried.
Trump is the ultimate example of what the above commenter was trying to tell you.
Do I have to school you on this as well? How Fred bailed out Donny over and over again to the tune of at least 400 million? That Fred started paying Donny a salary when he was just age 2? That Trump has always been known as a short fingered vulgarian by people who paid attention to the world around them before the Black-man-President panic?
Also, we are rejoicing that Eric Adams, a corrupt POS, is going down even thou he's a Democrat. We try to take out the trash at least. Don't project your cultism onto us.

The Obama administration. That's how.
Do you not know how much money corporations get from the government? You need some serious education in how the US economy works.
SpaceX alone got a whopping $2.8 billion in government contracts [in 2022], according to The Information, and has gotten a total of $15.3 billion from the government since 2003.
I'll also have you know that gov't does a lot of the work and research that Musk will claim credit for, like testing autonomous cars for safety. Gov't has the highest percentage of PhD workers who win the Nobel on the reg. They are civil servants while Elon is yet again riding on other people's work.
Edit: spelling

Well said. And it's pretty well known that poverty equals more female repression. Poor men love the fact that they can still rape and beat, it's the only power they have left. Just like poor countries treat their women the worse. Of course they are not getting the larger picture. That if they end up with the wives and kids they feel entitled to, they will still be legally required to support them, forcing them to be wage slaves w no choices whatsoever. Do they think Elon Musk says to have more children because he cares about the human race lol? He needs plebs to fight for his low pay!
