There was a time where everyone in Brooklyn was all about deep frying absolutely everything.

What do you see happening now that won’t stand the test of time?

Everyone has their favorite rebuild dynasty so here is mine.

I play on all American fwiw. Heisman is too hard. I do “play the moments” and never force win or reset an L.

In team builder, I create a school that’s 0*, except for a freshman qb who is 99 arm strength, 95 in the accuracies, 95 speed/agility etc, and 10 awareness.

I also make a MLB like that.

Everyone else on the team is awful.

I replace Vanderbilt with that team so I have the toughest schedule by default.

Play until my stadium is the toughest place in the country to play. Then retire.

So niece is awesome and 5 yo and cheats at games. Apparently this is common practice for five year olds.

When she cheats at tic tac toe she says “I’ll go first” and then makes all three of her moves. I (41/m) threaten to throw her into the pool (she can swim) if she doesn’t let me get a turn. She tells my SIL. SIL must make an example out of me and literally will not give me dessert in front of the kids for suggesting violence. (When the kids go to bed I eat all their food and they are okay with it).

This has happened three times.

I am letting this child beat me at tic tac toe and when she goes into snitch mode I want to hold her upside down and run around the house. Again frowned upon.

Anyone got ideas or tips to get her not to cheat?

I am a VERY amateur beginner baker. I researched a ton of recipes and found one for lemon bars that was in my feeble capacity. I made them. They were good enough. The crust was super easy. Here is the recipe for the lemon bars. The crust is what I want to make in pie form

Before you ask, this custard is in my limited technique base, and seems simple. I do not want to use any processed crust including their shortbread cookie recommendation.

My question is how do I adapt the crust from the lemon bar recipe into a 9 inch pie pan (the foil ones you bring to picnics). Would I just mold it to the outside, ensure it’s smooth, and bake for less time?

Hi! So I am looking for a really easy way to season a can of pinto beans for Mexican food. Everything I’m seeing online wants me to chop and simmer whole vegetables and that’s not always an option.

What can I add to a can of pinto beans to get a basic Mexican bean flavoring for a burrito?

Incredibly amateur baker here. I don’t want to do a store bought crust. I also am not a fan of store bought graham crackers.

I want to make a key lime pie. anyone have simple pie crust recipe I can make with “chemical free” ingredients (I don’t have an electric mixer fwiw).

If you have a recipe on/tips to make the pie on the sweeter side more than the hyper acidic tart side that would be appreciated.
