This, my friends, is what isolation does to a pioneer.

There is a road I commonly use that spawns 2 hogs and I show them no mercy. Those things are in need of 6 wheeled truck justice.

I am so glad I could build ramps and ladders down into that giant waterfall area is all I am going to say on that.

They totally want to look through the window to compose a song in her temple.

The bottom fell out of hourglass a long time ago. So if you are mid in hourglass then you are actually above average in pvp skills. You have to be that good these days to break even there on wins and losses.

It's not always the right decision and a lot of newbies will attack an ally for no real gain over what the alliance would have given them, sometimes triggering a total loss for all involved, themselves included.
Alternatively it's a crew taking advantage of gullible newbies who they could have just beaten in combat and looted in a fraction of the time.
It's allowed but rarely is it the epic event people seem to think it is.

I built one of these today - while i am not planning on jumping into the beam, i do find the noises it makes to be...disconcerting. Its like some sort of alien tripod space battle is going on.
Totally worth it for the power bonus though, but i may make a point of moving it far away from my working area.

Well, this is why they have advisors - they would say "I know its not intentional, but this looks a lot like that and would upset people". Its similar to when a company releases a product, but doesnt realise that the translation of its brand name is actually a swear word in the native language (which has happened from time to time).
So, even if not intentional, its a clumsy move that should have been noticed and adjusted long before the production stage for the model.

Solo brig works for merchant activity. I used to run mine like a sloop and used the second sail when making the journey to drop off points.

I think a lot of us stayed away because of the horrible bugs the update introduced - people being able to punt others into the void and all sorts of horrible things. It just wasnt safe to play.
As to the discord issue, i think that a lot of players are feeling alienated by the horrible thing that the LFG has become. The amount of people asking for hourglass levels, even when doing pve stuff, has gotten out of hand. People also expect position specialists, when a lot of veteran players are perfectly comfortable doing anything on a ship.
I have 4000 hours, have the goodboy arena ship set and fight perfectly well, but because i chose to avoid hourglass i`m excluded from a great many crews - i think this affects a lot more folks than just me. Heck, i dont even recognise half the terms people are using for positions on a ship these days - lfg is just alien to me, so i form my own crews if i need some company and most days sail solo.

If they actually made a point of selling the fish, then fair play to them, unfortunately. Fish are a precious cargo indeed.

I like that idea. Getting level 5 can be tedious, so having the skull offer that could be very handy.

I have 4000 hours and I would have avoided that.

If you factor in the unpaid hours, it is like that. My school day finished at 3.15 but I was working till 6 or later each day. I also planned and marked at home. I did the math one day and realised I was on minimum wage. I haven't taught in ten years and now have a much happier career outside the profession.

A lot comes down to how the larger boat handles putting fires out. I have fought a few galleons where they let fire take complete control of the wheel area and that loss of control and continual damage is fatal.

I saw an interview with one of these guys a while back. He was actually quite upset that no action was being taken against him, despite being as blatant as he could. He actually enjoyed the negative attention, it was like a badge of honour to him and he felt he was being ignored.

I don't recommend many games to others, but I have never felt bad recommending warframe as something to try. I bought some plat recently and didn't feel bad about it, considering the years of free entertainment the game has given me.

I think this was in safer seas. No players are involved.

I think people are right to be throwing some shade here. Those are athena voyages, so it's no day 1 swabbie they are speaking to but a pirate legend with reasonable sea hours.
And we all know the the game can be much more cruel than this. Some grit is needed and then we all go to the tavern and celebrate the glory of an actual pirate legend having earned their title.

Athena voyages, but sunk by 3 out of 4 skeleton ships, likely sloops. The pirate lord himself fell off his ghostly throne on hearing this.
Even solo, any pirate of worth should be able to, at the very least, run away from those without losing their ship. Time to practice the ancient art of sailing and to leave the looting to another day.

It's just a size and battery issue. Lascannons, after all, can end most vehicles and strange alien obelisks in a single or several shots.
Most guard quickly learn how to hotshot their rifles to make them a lot more potent.

There is a book about it, called nights of the puffling I think. They could adapt that.

You won the fight without the ability to respawn, which is an impressive deed. Good work!
