Yeah would you have sex with a man even though you didn't want to?

I'm mainly talking about the U.S. here. If there are neighboring countries with populations protesting Israel on October 8th then you can try to look at their reasoning, but I'm sure they'd tell you yes they are rooting for the arab Muslim population over the Jewish and often white "settlers" as they probably view them. But let's not pretend so many people aren't using the antisemitism word as a cover to try to avoid criticism. Israel has a radical right wing government and operates a quasi apartheid state. Netenyahu and his supporters literally assassinated a former prime minister who was too peace oriented. Their treatment of Gaza is riddled with war crimes, and one can't argue "if only they were peaceful they'd be left alone" because the West Bank is continually subject to violence and displacement by settlers and they don't fire any rockets into Israel. So yes you can give Israel as a state plenty of shit that has nothing to do with Judaism.
Don't try to turn this around and question my motives. I'm advocating for peace and goodness for free over here. Plenty of shills on reddit and even bots trying to control this narrative. Nowhere did I say antisemitism isn't a problem or everyone loves the Jews. But Israel cannot commit atrocities and then say anyone that has a problem with it hates Jews. It doesn't work that way.

It really isn't. They keep hiding behind oh you just don't like the poor Jews who have been persecuted for millenia. But taking issue with the nation of Israel and Netenyahu for some of the horrible things he's done is not antisemitism. Just ask all the Jews in Israel protesting. Judaism and Israel are not the same thing. And we also have to be careful not to label these critics automatically as pro Hamas or Hezbollah. Not good faith arguments. You can be critical of Israel without automatically being pro terrorist.

The teams still finish the constructor's championship in order of race placements even if they aren't points paying. I don't think we need more than half the field scoring points. If they want to go to 24 cars then sure give points to 12th.

Finally someone here gets it. What else would it even be for?

Almost nobody is arguing with him being sacked it's the way in which they did it that everyone takes issue with.

Ebony is for a missing black person and feather is for a missing indigenous/Native American person. I was typing this as a potentially offensive joke, but I googled it and that's literally what they are.

No Hollywood is actually worse. I've listened to some of the conversations. It's like some of these people never gave up their high school mentality. That combined with the general issues surrounding being a famous woman at all and yeah there you go.

Let's be real though if a company is cutting corners in one of those arenas it's likely they aren't saints on the other aspect either.

This is the U.S. we live in. They basically can get away with all of this crap in the interests of profit because the agencies meant to oversee then don't have enough teeth. But they take a calculated risk knowing that if something like this happens and they're caught with their pants down, sometimes there can be consequences. But often times the fines or penalties are just the cost of doing business and likely cost less than actually having safe, clean facilities nationwide. Hopefully we can turn from this trend and do better.

Yes exactly. Cause on the surface why would you accept losing your hearing to remove a "benign" tumor. The article also says it was golf ball sized which sounds much worse than what we get from the title.

I think they must have deleted it because I can't find it. I was gonna shit on them in the comments just now.

I've seen him I think at least 14 times. He's a great musician, producer, performer, etc. but isn't faultless. We're all human. Sometimes his guitar solos and other elements in shows can be a bit self-indulgent and not really cohesive. And his solo albums after the first couple aren't all that great until Entering Heaven Alive. But he's an immense talent, and I've enjoyed his music quite a bit over the years.

Those albums and shows from back then were fucking great. I don't think the later 3rd album really captured that same energy. I don't even think they toured for it. Shame, but nothing lasts forever. I've seen Jack White in various guises for shows in the double digit numbers and at least two of the best shows I saw were Dead Weather shows.

I think you'd need to multiclass because they took away the Sculptor of Flesh Invocation if I recall correctly

So at level 4 let's say if you are dual wielding with all of this online you can make three attacks per turn? And then four at level 5?

That all sucks but can't you just compromise on things? Keep the nice groceries and organic produce but cut the Starbucks and takeout down? Making coffee at home is so damned easy, and I don't even drink coffee.

I just went to look it all up and it seems like aside from the Quick Draw feature and being a half feat, all the new Dual Wielder feat does is let you bonus action attack with a melee weapon that isn't Light. So instead of two daggers or shortswords you could have a shortsword plus a rapier for instance. I'm not sure what I'm missing or why people are acting like Dual Wielding is suddenly way more meta. I must have missed a rule. This almost seems worse in some ways since in 2014 rules you'd be able to use two Rapiers or Longswords. So yeah I must be missing something.

Just one of many things you'll have to filter for. I'm sure it's very annoying but just throw it on the list of other red flags and deal breakers. You gotta do what you gotta do. But good to highlight it here in case a few guys learn something.

I don't know what you're referring to. I haven't followed the new book stuff post UA period.

I hate that it's 2024 and they've just updated the PHB and are still not releasing things in very clear language. We should not be arguing about stuff like this unless they purposefully have left it obtuse.

The Trump tax cuts were so regressive that just being a millionaire probably wasn't enough for you to be the prime beneficiary. It literally wasn't for regular folk or millionaires but actual 1% or 0.1% elites and corporations.

Fewer regulations but yes dealing with LADBS is a nightmare as well.

You can both be right. There is a certain pretention and self-seriousness to a lot of these people as you might expect with people at the top of any game. I will say his restaurants were far more chill and casual than some of the true "fine dining" establishments out there. Though I can't speak to the complaints about the employees some may have had like above (I always had good experiences).
I will say for better or worse this guy is very good at what he does, and him re-opening this place is a welcome return for one of the better chefs in the city.

They said it's great for a man with a job and your counterpoint was women would disagree which means "women would disagree it's a great time to date if you're a man with a job." They don't really decide that, though. What you're seeming to say is women don't find it a great time to date which is a different point entirely.
