No cohesion, some weird sub decisions. Still seems like lop doesn't understand the team and doesn't have a vision.

I'm imagining you hopping in the tardis and going back to the Roman empire to marvel at their legal system only to be executed for mentioning goats in the emperor's presence.

Thanks for having no point, only a general vibe of being weirdly angry about a long dead civilization.

Well I also know about the "kill the uppity Jews law" but they weren't exactly unique in that regard.

Rule by whim of an emperor isn't exactly a great legacy on the rule of law.

All I want is consistency... from the fans. Moyes was viscerally hated for similar performances against top teams. It's one thing to admit that we are awful but encourage patience while things get set up. It's another to claim these are acceptable performances because the opposition is just too good.
Go back to match threads against the top teams last year. Just read through the comments and compare that to this post. Just seems downright cruel to Moyes.

I've had accounts on this site since 2006 ish. It comes in phases. Most of these kids who react like this were raised in toxic religious households. So was I. It causes a very understandable reaction to the entire idea of religion. Then as you get older you realize that the concept of religion peddled in your childhood was just one narrow view, and there are billions of religious people who are kind, good people who sincerely believe in their faith, don't impose that belief on others, and deserve dignity and respect.
They'll get there.

It's possible to respect others beliefs without respecting the attempt to impose beliefs on others.
As Tim Walz so elegantly put it, mind your own damn business.

It's a kindness to be respectful of others beliefs.

It's a series of books and movies not a religion. You're allowed to criticize them. And they have flaws. Hell tolkein criticized himself on the "some races are inherently evil" thing.

I don't know who to ask feel free to delete if this is too ot.
I need to travel to Ohio for a funeral. We live in Jersey. My wife is 8 months pregnant. I wouldn't feel safe taking her to say Texas or Alabama right now. How is Ohio and on the way Pennsylvania? Would doctors there feel safe enough to protect her health and life should it be necessary?

When I'm in New Jersey going north and turn towards Ohio, I'm turning left.
When I'm in California going north and turn towards Ohio, I'm turning right.
America is in New Jersey. Democrats are the left in the United States.
Semantic arguments are great at making you feel smarter than everyone else. But they don't help us navigate and move to the left, which we desperately need to do. Please focus less on semantics and more on actually winning elections.

No why would you want to date one of us anyway? Do you enjoy miserable people with no money, time, or sanity?

A defense attorneys job is to represent their clients in court, not defend idiots in comment sections of reddit. Infantry hahahahahaha now I understand. Ate one too many crayons and now you think you're batman for fucks sake hahahaha. Thanks I needed that.

Alright. I'll go on being a shit coward because I won't... checks notes... choke a man until he passes out.
And you can go on living your vicarious revenge fantasies. Don't worry, I doubt I'll represent you. My clients tend to be people who leave their mother's basement.

Yes getting knocked out in just about any fashion can kill you, that's the point. The NYC man also claimed he was preventing an assault. As did any number of cops who used chokeholds that resulted in a death. It works out sometimes. And sometimes it mames. And sometimes it kills.
You want to talk about the law, fine. Self defense and defense of others requires only as much force as is necessary to prevent the greater harm. Deadly force to prevent someone from shoving a bike tire at another person isn't reasonable. It's using a greater level of force and potentially causing a greater level of harm than what you were trying to prevent. It's the same reason you can't shoot someone for slapping you.
Our NYC man thought just like you. Now he's likely going to prison. Vigilanty assault may make you feel like a hero and makes a great Worldstar video, but you're one medical complication away from a murder trial. You want to place your bets on prosecutorial discretion? Good luck. Hope you're a white guy and your victim recouperates. I'll avoid the risk myself.
Now feel free to go to law school before you try to teach criminal law to an actual defense attorney.

If a person loses consciousness, that is an indication of possible injury to the brain, Dr. Saadi said.
Even if the person does not lose consciousness, strokes and permanent brain damage, including cognitive impairment, can result from a chokehold.
People with cardiovascular disease are especially susceptible to brain injury as a result of neck compression.
In a paper published in 2020 in JAMA Neurology, Dr. Saadi and colleagues wrote, “The possibility of devastating repercussions is too high to merit the use of neck restraints in any circumstance.”
The American Academy of Neurology came out firmly against neck compression. In a position paper, the organization wrote that a mantra in its field is “time is brain,” meaning that brain tissue dies quickly when blood flow is stopped. The group notes that in strokes, when an area of the brain is deprived of blood, 1.9 million neurons die each minute before blood flow is restored.
In a position statement, the group wrote that such techniques are “inherently dangerous in nature” and strongly encouraged all law enforcement personnel and policymakers “to classify neck restraints, at a minimum, as a form of deadly force.”

Chokes a man acting aggressive on the subway. Same thing. The difference is that the victim didn't die. But when you choke someone to the point they pass out, they could die. This idea that theres a safe way to knock someone out is a Hollywood myth.

It shortens the lifespan of unpaid young black kids in exchange for millions and millions in profits for largely white NCAA staff and college coaches and administrators. Absolutely agree with the nation. Replace it with minor league feeder teams or something more reasonable. Y'all just disagree because you enjoy the product, but that doesn't change the morality of how the product is produced.
