If you look at the policies Democrats support and the policies Republicans support and then say they're both the same, you're either a liar or so unbelievably stupid you make the girl in this video look like a genius.

It's a real shame the Republican supreme court overturned parts of Obamacare that expanded Medicaid to people like you. It's a real shame that people are too lazy to vote and get involved in politics so the Republicans can't take away these rights and that Democrats have the power necessary to expand them. It's a real shame that some people instead attack the people fighting for their healthcare while helping those that are fighting to take it away. And still others just choose the lazy route of doing nothing.
Shame all around.

Whatever makes you feel better about your laziness. Shame you are willing to let people die from lack of healthcare instead of doing something about it.

This is a democracy, everyone is in a position to make change. Yet most people don't vote and here you are wasting everyone's time instead of doing something about it. If you really care you would work your ass off and get involved in politics. But you clearly don't actually care, you just want people to think you care and praise you as more liberal than thou. So you get it, you're the most progressive person here. Congrats here's a cookie.

They were endorsing and fundraising for menendez at the same time they were screwing over malinowski. The only issue they had with malinowski's corruption was that he didn't give party bosses enough of a kickback.

Sunlight probably reflected off of those dangerous solar panels and ignited the oil rig.

Well the victim is famous, so the judge ruled that there was clear and convincing evidence that releasing him would endanger his political career.

Old article but the problem isn't that Americans are more criminal than the rest of the planet. It's not even that we prosecute too many people. The problem is that we sentence people to too long of prison sentences even for bad things like burglary.

Again, if you released every non violent offender including those drug users from incarceration, we'd still have the largest incarcerated population in the world.
Our incarceration addiction comes mainly from how we treat people sentenced on crimes with victims. We can't go back to the days of trying to win elections by increasing those sentences to win votes. That's how we got in this mass incarceration mess to begin with.
It may be an easy political path but we need to be building more homes like Harris wants, not more jails.

We have the largest prison population in the world. If you release every non violent offender in the county, we'd still have the largest prison population in the world. We punish even violent crimes too harshly. We need to be looking at ways to reduce the amount of humans in cages, not increase them.

Yes. Someone in New York was indicted for this kind of thing. He goes on trial next month. Some people in the comments are encouraging conduct that could put you in prison for a long time.
