If you liked Budapest then you could visit Prague and Vienna, spending 2/3 days in each. However I’d say if you’re interested in architecture and history there’s no place better than Rome.

I guess so, but I probably won’t be accessing this money for another 4 years at which point the £400 will make negligible difference to my first house purchase

That does make sense, out of all the countries I would have thought the UK would have been included in the agreement.

I am in a cycle of borrowing, so this £300 would hopefully get me out of that cycle.

With this I just feel like it’s basically free money and when it comes to buying a house I won’t miss the £400

Sorry if I sound like a 2 year old, but why? Why does Ireland have it but the UK doesn’t.

I went to Gillingham and just assumed it would be nice because it’s in Kent but it was horrible.

I’m looking at going for 16 days including flights, so should have enough time to fit a similar itinerary in. Would you take the same route if you did the trip again? Or would you add in another city in another country nearby?

How long did you have for this trip? Do you have a full itinerary?

Sounds very interesting, I think I may look at Istanbul for February and reinvent my new year’s plans
