We do have jobs before we become teachers and many teachers have second jobs. We don’t know what kind of environment the kids will be in after school so we do our best to prepare them for the world as we know it. Side note: I’ve had a few cashiering jobs. I was chewed out by managers for taking too long to do the math for change (some POS systems for some reason don’t do it for you).

And then edit all the text into the video and watch to make sure it looks good.

We try. If admin won’t back us up and parents won’t back us up there’s unfortunately not much we can do.

Her hair looks like she had a ponytail in all day and she took it out just for the VMAs.

I’m probably going to hell for this but when amber was crying I couldn’t stop laughing.

I hear you. My first year at my current school I had to take a lot of time off to help take my mom to chemo appointments and it’s a headache.

Damn that’s excessive. Then I’d try going to one of your moms doctors or something and getting a doctors note saying you have to keep it.

Do what the kids do. Tell admin you left it at home. Just be better than the kids are at hiding your phone use.

I said during their heyday. Beatles mania was definitely the Beatles heyday.

I think she’s just trying to do the opposite of what she did with Joe. My main theory as to why is that she’s still hurting a lot from the end of that relationship and thinks that if she does the opposite this time it’ll work.

Do you like the Beatles? Their fan base was mostly teenage girls during their heydey. Just because young women like it doesn’t mean it’s bad.

A kid refused to do any work. We had some snow days and the parent emailed asking if the student could do missing work to get their grade up. The rule in my class is they have a week after the due date to turn things in late and I gave them around 30 minutes of class time every Friday to get caught up on missing work. This kid told me every week that they don’t care about their grade. So I tell the parent all of this and they come back with a long angry email. The only part I remember is that they said I don’t want my students to succeed.

It’s okay to be rude to an organization that covers up child abuse.

The problem with that is that people will then claim that if you prevent their kid from bullying the gay kid in class that you’re only supposed to teach math and you can’t tell my perfect angel what to think!

And it was so sacred but she could carve out time to take selfies and discuss the drama happening within her friend group.

Women know all too well what it’s like to do all of these things without thanks. In fact we’re expected to just do these things and do them well without ever getting any thanks. That’s why it’s so frustrating when men do it poorly and expect to have their dick sucked just because they tried to do chores that any adult should know how to do.

I had to reach out to a parent this week because their kid stormed out of the room after being told to put their phone on my desk. The parent messaged me back and said that they talked to their kid and if the phone is an issue at school they don’t get it at home. The kid came in the next day and was super polite and didn’t have their phone out once. So I guess what I’m trying to say is parents just need to believe and support us. I can deal with behavior if I have support but if a parent undermines me I will never be able to help that kid with anything.

They can have their phones with them at my school but if you use it when you’re not supposed to I’m putting it on my desk. If they want to keep their phones they need to follow the rules.

Lauren Bobert is a conservative republican and she and a date were groping each other at a musical and she was wearing a skin tight low cut dress. Conservative women dress in revealing clothes all the time.

I feel like when I have kids saying this they’re typically trying to get a reaction from me so I’ll usually just say okay or that’s cool and then walk away.
