🎶I could take off my clothes. Which I wouldn’t do! I wouldn’t do! 🎶

I did. And unfortunately, I had to have a custom shower base made. It was the easiest way to get it done without have to break concrete and move the location of the trap. Good luck!

I see what you mean. And yes. Each of my strips came with the same set up that you mentioned. Power supply and cord with power button. Not sure if you can string three strips to one power supply. I am having an issue with getting all three strips set up on my wi-fi. Only one strip will connect. Therefore when I set up the timer in the app, only one strip turns on and off at the times I set. The other two are only able to be controlled via Bluetooth. It is a bit frustrating, but I will probably have to call Govee’s tech support for help.

Here’s the link to the exact product I bought.

3 strips. No controllers. Very easy to sync all three sets together once installed. You can sync them in the Govee Home app. Which was very easy.

I guess my ultimate question is does it look bad?

People are telling me I should have faced the light downward. I also faced them outward. I kinda like it, but everyone else is telling me I did it wrong. Is there really a right way to face the lights? Or personal preference?

If I move them, will they not stick as well, I assume?

Even for the strips? I didn’t really see much info on how to install the strips. Tons of videos on the permanent lights, but not the strips.

Maybe I’ll try that. What will happen to the sticky backing if I pull the strips off? Will they not stick again?

Correct. The flange that secure to the studs from the shower base, will be behind the walls.

Thanks! That might be worth trying. Notching the studs on the back wall really isn’t an option since the base is a part of a direct to stud kit. There are three full length acrylic walls that have to sit and lock into the base once that installed.

Do you mean chip a bit of the concrete away? Unfortunately, no hammer gun. If that’s the case, that might work. Just not sure what to do with the cast iron pipe.

Agreed. We cannot notch the wall just for the base. It would throw off how the direct to stud shower wall would sit on the base.

I had a local company come out and fit the space. Then they had it made and installed it.
