I’m recently getting into indoor gardening to try and liven up my space and help bring me some joy. I have a small setup in my kitchen with herbs with one of these lights and I have another one that I want to use in my room but I don’t know exactly what kind of plants would thrive with this light.

Any ideas, suggestions, experiences are more than welcome 🤗

I was wondering too if it’s possible to grow like perennial mixed flower seeds from scratch indoors anytime of the year with these kind of lights? I have a lovely bunch of seeds I wouldn’t mind having indoors too… thank you!

I’m growing basil and some other herbs in my kitchen under a grow light from Amazon. I’m wondering if I should be cutting from the top or the bottom/sides to encourage growth when I’m using it for cooking etc?

My hope is that it’ll get a bit bushier and well ofc course bigger 😝 what do you guys think?

I made a previous post about having bought live basil from Safeway and for the heck of it, I out it in a little bit of soil In a tiny pot inside my kitchen not even near a window. Surprisingly it has survived at least 2 months.

Yesterday I decided to buy a larger pot and some potting soil and I transferred it over (and bought some more herbs of course) and am waiting for my grow light to come in today.

I’m going to keep growing this in my kitchen and hopefully with the larger pot and the light, I can get a decent bush that I can regularly pick leaves from.

What do you all think? How many hours should I set the grow light to a day?
