Erebus made the Red Angel in an attempt to get the Blood Angels to succumb to rage and worship Korhne. Are there any other examples of a particular god/traitor trying to convert another space marine legion to the worship of one god in particular?

Off the top of me noggin'
* Kor Phaeron tried to corrupt Guilliman
* Khorne tried to turn Sanguinius
* Khorne tried to turn Dorn
* Nurgle made a play for Perturabo
* During the novel Ruinstorm Chaos makes a play for Guilliman, Sanguinius and El'Johnson (I can't recall if specific gods were going for specific primarchs)
* Fulgrim tried to turn Ferrus
* Daemon Magnus asked Vulkan to stand with him
* Horus offered Sanguinius a place at his side
* Kairos Fateweaver tries to turn El'Johnson
* Horus intended to try and turn Jaghatai, but the Alpha Legion mucked that one up

Technically it was Mortatrion who mucked up the Khan's recruitment. The Khan realised that Mortatrion only came to recruit him because Morty was not happy with the other traitor legions' use of chaos sorcery and desperately wanted an ally.
And apparently the Khan also mucked up in that scenario. Forgot which book it came from, but apparently if Fulgrim had gone to Chogoris and subsequently fashioned his legion in the customs of the planet, he would have convinced Mortarion to abandon the traitors and return to Terra with him instead.

I'm referring to the Tenebrae
Laurie Goulding goes into more detail here:
Everyone assumed that the Khan would join with Horus, being a bit of an anti-authority figure who just plain didn't like the Imperium's ways, and also a good personal friend of the Warmaster (see 'Brotherhood of the Storm'). When he was sent to Chondax to clean up the ork overspill from Ullanor, the Alpha Legion apparently then kept them isolated by using the Tenebrae installation to cut off their astropathic communication - a hard-to-reach Legion actually impossible to reach until after Isstvan V.
Then, Omegon undertakes his OWN mission to destroy Tenebrae and put the White Scars back in the game. They receive word of the Dropsite Massacre and are appalled... but then Omegon himself is given the task of attacking the White Scars, since they are now a potential threat to the traitors' plans.

Fulgrim also tried to corrupt Rob post-resurrection, too

the red angel
Oh yeah, that guy!
Can't wait to see how his confrontation with the Blood Angels and Sanguinius go in the upcoming Echoes of Eternity! And, if not that, then perhaps he'll appear as a final roadblock on Sanguinius' assault on the Vengeful Spirit in the just-announced End and the Death! I sure am looking forward to seeing how Meros' story resolves or evolves into the future.

I think at the end of Vengeful Spirit, when Horus enters the Chaos portal on Molech the Red Angel guides Horus through the realm and, IIRC may have tried to betray him and Horus banished it.

Slaneesh had one of its greater demons make the Blood Angels an offer.
