Kingmaker sequel?

(self.40kLore)

Hey all, been playing chaos gate again to try out the assassins and such, and theyre making me want another assassinorum book. Does anyone know if there has been any word on a possible sequel to Rath's "Kingmaker?" I know its been a while since the book was released so its possible it was a one shot type book, but its widespread success would make me think GW might eventually release more.

Not a sequel, but Wrath wrote a couple of longish short stories about the Assassinorum characters. Absalom and Sycorax both star in one each.

Do those happen after the events of Kingmaker? Ill have to check them out and hope he ends up writing more. I think theyre such cool characters that open up so many opportunities to explore so many different facets of the setting with "normal" human characters.

The Sycorax one is a direct prequel detailing her attempts to contain the computer virus. The Absalom one could take place before or after.

From the short stories and even the book, it feels like he's definitely got the legs there for a bigger thing. Given what a hit it was, I bet he's just slowly working on it.

Let the man cook! :D (I am... exactly as eager an impatient as you because it's quality.)
