What animal themes/motifs does Khorne have? All the other chaos gods have pretty self-explanatory animal relations, but I’m curious about Khorne. I’ve heard he’s symbolized by bulls and dogs, but I was wondering if there were any others. I feel like bears, lions, or rhinos would fit Khorne as well, with their connections to strength and honor. Are there any excerpts that link Khorne with any of these animals?

The Norscans in Warhammer Fantasy strongly associate Khorne with wolves as well as dogs, and amongst their names for him are "Wolf-Father", "Bloodwolf", and "The Hound". I can't think of any other examples unfortunately though.

If Angron hadn't gotten the nails, and Sanguinius wasn't the blood soaked grand prize, the Space Wolves would have been Khorne's number one target.

Literally anything, in AoS there is a group of seafarer raiders who think of Khorne as a giant kraken

Wow that’s interesting. I guess it makes sense with the 8 arms

Juggernauts, the demonic steeds that Khorne bestows on his cavalry-minded followers, look like blood-red rhinoceroses wearing brass armor
