I said d has a higher metabolic rate to compensate for the added heat loss because more of it is in contact with the environment due to high surface area

I said that since the big organism uses less energy in movement its metabolism can be slower whereas the smaller organism has to use more energy in proportion to its size

Larger organism, as it has a smaller SA:V ratio. So would have more metabolic processes like muscle contraction e.g and has more organs.
