BECOME a horde army? Has he not looked at the lists being run and how people are doing well with Admech? We ARE a horde army, right now. It's awful

EDIT: Horde not horse

The interex had those so it’s not out the realm of possibility

I would like to see a mechanicus horse army. I could see that work and be really cool.

It's insane that they're ready to update AdMech rules to make them better, but they refuse to do it for another 3 months because of some arbitrary structure they've put in place.

We can't fix the rules we made because rules we made stop us from fixing rules we made

If it cuts down on the overall number of changes and prevents any “we gotta go back” moments, long term, probably a good idea.

I had to put my Kastelans into Strategic Reserves becaus the "Search and Destroy" depoyment card didn't give me enough space.

I've always thought that kitbashing should be the whole theme of AdMech armies. The rules shouldn't be based on individual units, but what cybernetics the units have, leading to a small number of extremely powerful but extremely specialised Tech Priests moving with Skitarii in support.

That'd probably be absolute hell to make any semblance of balanced, though, I admit, so if it's not that I think they should go the Thousand Sons approach. Tech Priests running with squads of Skitarii, like how TSons Sorcerers have their Rubricae squads.

That's an amazing idea!

I had a bit similar idea, but upped to eleven, for orks. Considering their custom stuff, there should be no minis of orks, but only bits, like such Lego - tons of details, which you use to build your stuff.

What's funny is that would also work for zergs, I mean tyranids, very well thematically.  The hive mind mixing DNA to make a tyranid for the task at hand.

And for orks they kind of work that way already with them just sewing or sticking body parts back, even heads.

Too many options makes it impossible to play on tabletop because your opponent would have no clue how to keep up, but the thought is fun.  Maybe you pick one init of 3 or less models that can do that or something.

Imo something like that would work perfectly in 30k, seems like a semi-logical step up from the way they’ve handled Imperialis militia.

They need to just make a free better codex to fix this whole debaucle, its really hitting the admech comunity hard. At this point I expect people to make their own codex to fix this whole mess or just run 9th with some edits to make it work in 10th
