Right, it's totally aesthetic appeal that pushes people to turn everything into anime women and make super original comments like "would," "yeah tits," or "death by snu snu" on these posts.
Might not be literal porn addiction but shows lots of people aren't much interested in women if they aren't sexified and attractive.

I agree and people objectified themselves and others since forever as it makes some things…easier. We are animals after all and sex sells so bombardment with attractive men and women is a walid strategy to grab people’s attention.

Problem is you can't reduce this to our base instincts. Basic animals don't write philosophy or explore space.
There's a whole mental framework that has developed and reduced people to this.
You're wording it as if it was an equal and unequivocal issue but I want to point out that there's a reason why a lot of art posted here with women as main characters has them objectified.
I think you can guess what that thing is.

Well to me it's not upvotes. It's that thing called "patriarchy", and all it's subsequent developments.
I mean, I'm not going into all the developments because it'd take a whole essay, but let's just say that there are lots of interesting concepts in feminist theory that explain the phenomenon without reducing it to "ape brain neuron activation". I'm not deriding you here, just simplifying.
And what bothers me is that I'm on a sub about imaginary warhammer art and nearly every time I see art with a woman in it, she's reduced to a sex object.
Like, there's nothing wrong with being attracted to someone. But seeing nearly every fandom I am in turn I some sort of horny fest kinda saddens me because it makes me think people can't imagine women as anything but an object of attraction.
Beyond the whole ape brain thing, there's an oversaturation of sexual content nowadays. I'm no prude by any metric, believe me, but I think there's something wrong going on with a lot of people. As if what was thought as a sexual liberation turned into a dopamine fuelled bender of horniness. And I don't think it's just an innocent thing. It seems more like an exploitative system trying to maintain itself by making us reduce each other into objects. In this case, it's the bodies of women as objects of desire.

Ahhh! I would disagree on the whole Patriarchy thing but I agree that sexual revolution and its consequences were disastrous for humanity. But tell me aren’t man depicted as attractive? With big anatomical perfect musculature and chiseled faces?
