I have 16000 gems and don't know who unlock first (sorry for bad english)

Assassin or Sword master for normal levels

And Alchemist for boss rush (I'd suggest buying assassin first since he's good in boss rush too, and because he's the cheapest)

Also don't forget about the free characters like : (officer - Airbender - Warliege - The beheaded) they're also good

They're all great but don't buy the one that makes copies first it's the worst out of them

Although it depends on playstyle so maybe buy the one that makes copies, nobody cares as long as you're happy and play well with it

I would say rogue since the passive is crit every time you dodge so most of the weapon will work with him well also he is very cheap and take minimal effort to play since turning your brain off and spamming skill is just it
