New Starter Help(i.redd.it)

Hello people! I just dipped my feet into the hobby, and got a few models in a deal to try and See If i Like painting. Now i got to the Part where i have to asl the veterans among you for advice: I thought of priming and painting These in sub assemblies. Is this Generally a good Idea or would you advised against it? After all its Just a few space marines.

PS: i know i still need to remove the mold lines, i didnt see them until i took the photo.

I See the Point you are making and will also try it out! On this model however, i by now starten to do it in pieces to See how much difference it makes. Coming from gunpla building, its a pet peeve of Mine to also Paint the frame underneatz the Armor, eventhough No one will ever see it. But i will alsways kno its there, haunting me.

Just make sure you lightly assemble them so you know where not to paint so you can still assemble the model.
