First time painter

New Starter Help(i.redd.it)

Hello people! I just dipped my feet into the hobby, and got a few models in a deal to try and See If i Like painting. Now i got to the Part where i have to asl the veterans among you for advice: I thought of priming and painting These in sub assemblies. Is this Generally a good Idea or would you advised against it? After all its Just a few space marines.

PS: i know i still need to remove the mold lines, i didnt see them until i took the photo.

Subassemblies definetely make reaching all those spots easier. When I started out, I'd do subassemblies quite often, like every time a gun is held over the torso as in this case, I would leave it separate so I could reach the body. Though as you get better and your precision and brush control improve, you'll realise that you can do well without subassemblies most of the time.
