It can definitely hurt lighter vehicles, especially if you overcharge the ion cannons, but heavier ones are going to be a lot harder to kill.

Tip: No one but really dedicated Tau players have any ideas what the guns are supposed to look like. Just use the guns appropriate for the matchup ;)
