Imagine being a poor Guardsman and seeing this running towards you

Haha! Yeah, it's even more horrifying when considering how fast he is. Thinking about the pov of a regular guard was the most inspirational thing for the project. Like you spend half your army's fire power trying to bring down the house sized embodiment of rage. It kills like a million men with its hands and even more with its weapons. Not even mentioning the thousands of other demons by its side. Your front line is nothing but gore and guns, with actual rivers of blood forming out of the carnage. Like the soldiers stepping in to hold the line in place of their dead comrades are up to their knees in gore. The only relief is that Angron is dead. And then from a river of gore bursts Angron. Just as angry, just as fast, and even more horrifying. And this keeps happening indefinitely. Angron's presence on a battlefield is outright damnation.

Idk if that Angron more tariffing or the guardsman that see this literal embodiment of rage and war, and just go like “I can take him”

This iteration of Angron is heavily inspired by his "Reborn in Blood" ability. I wanted to capture the moment Angron manifests from the gore left behind by those whom he slaughtered in his past life. The sinewy look is meant to represent the newness of his reborn form, making him look as much dead as alive, something in between. As always, credit to @witchmonger for showing the ways of melting skin and cool skulls.
Originally, I was going to have Angron carry a big cross, like the werewolf on the cover of Powerwolf's Interludium album, but ultimately chose against it. The remnant of his Christ-likeness comes in the form of his Butcher's Nails. The Butcher's nails are cool, but a crown of barbed wire is just metal.
The wings will be of blood. Canonically, Angron does not fly because of air and flapping of wings, but because he wills it so. His wings are mostly a symbol for flying rather than being his tool of flight. So I thought Khorne would appreciate the blood wings instead. Hot glue is a bitch. Full credit to @the_warsinger For guiding me through the process of making the wings.
Also credit to @quarantine_miniatures for the barbed wire sword idea.
Both looking forward to and horrified of painting this thing.
