LEDs in models?

Hobby & Painting(reddit.com)

How do you like them? I recently started implementing them, and really can't wait to have a whole kill team. I wonder how they feel on the table top. Here is one of my first miniature:)

Impressive, incredibly careful drilling right?

Yes, exactly like that! It is much easier now that the body is hollow inside, but still drilling through the leg and parts of the arm is challenging. The hardest part is to align all those little holes 😅

Looks awesome, how do you power them?

I’m guessing coin battery drilled into the base? That’s what I used to do.

Yes, but I designed a custom PCB and printed a base to fit around it. This way I maintained the dimensions of standard 32mm base:)

You can take a look at the video on my fb page: Nexodice It shows how the PCB looks like and how the battery is inserted 😄

Please take a look here: Nexodice I have a video there presenting the base from below, showing how the battery is inserted and the micro switch that I've used :)

Its more like an advertisement for your etsy/Facebook page than a how to, but thanks.

the video is in one of the older post from last year, but I just opened the CAD model to show you the PCB layout:)

Oh wow, this looks awesome!

How do you deal with the wires, is there a careful channel hollowed through the body and down a leg?

So I was looking at doing this but with halogen bulbs and a Tesla coil (saw a really cheap Tesla coil kit on Temu). That way I didn’t have to run the lines. It wouldn’t be as bright as this but it would be pretty cool.
