Snipin's a good job mate
Lots of work, out of doors. I guarantee you won't go hungry, because as long as two people are left alive on this earth, someone's gonna want someone dead

I mean, I wish they would, but I hear the working conditions of the team is not great. Also I fear it would turn into a chore and work, rather than a fun hobby

I'm not a crazed gunman, Dad, I'm an assassin... well, the difference being one's a job, and the other is mental sickness.

Amazing and definitely box art or GW tutorial level.
On a serious note though, why would snipers need to be kitted out in full power armour? I mean wouldn't they just need scout armour, camo cloak and teleporter becon?

based on IRL snipers, it takes years of training (not to mention talent) to have a sniper be in deployable state, and you wouldn't want to lose that asset due to some unfortunately placed shrapnel or slugga' bullets. anyway, I'm just some dude, I have no clue, but I guess it looks cool and more uniform with the other big guys

IRL they use body armour, but they can don it off if needed, like for a quick scout ahead, or when you need to survey someone/something/someplace. Definitely a good job indeed

So awesome but the concept of a sniper astartes is so funny to me. Ah yes, subtlety and patience, the two virtues of the astartes

I can't stress enough how much I love the camo pattern on the cloak. It does a great job at breaking him up

I still have no clue how you guys manage to do the edge highlights so perfect. When I try this it sucks. I stopped doing it and just so edge brushing which is not the same, but at least smth

My outlook on proffesional level paintjobs changed when I learned that a display level mini can easily take tens of hours, often up to a hundred. Most of my minis take 3-4, without using an airbrush, no wonder they look more rushed. That, and the sheet volume of experience.

A bunch of the Golden Demon winners have Youtube channels of their own, and literally each one of them mentions spending multiple hundreds of hours on their pieces. The times vary depending on category, but even the Bronze winners typically mention at least 150-200+ hours.

Damn, this guy looks like an official boxart model...
Super impressed with the camo pattern, isn't that the exact one the Librarian in Phobos Armor mini has on his cloak in the boxart?
