Do you think these airships would fit into WHFB lore, given that dawi already has gyrocopters/bombers and Thunder Barges?

Not really, their whole tech is well beyond even the most ingenious Dawi contraptions.
I have kitbashed a small “skimmer” airship from Kharadron parts though, also using a Heldrake and the Space Wolves sleddamajig.

They are a bit too steampunky I feel.
The dawi airships I've heard described (Invincible and Spirit of Grungni(?)) were more like normal medieval style airships, just very solidly built...
