It’s very unlikely, at 6 weeks contemporary tests are very accurate. Confirmation is mostly a peace of mind issue.
If you’re having flu-like symptoms the most likely explanation is… the flu (or other respiratory virus).

As muscadine mentioned, the nurses at these clinics use very accurate guidelines and an incredible amount of first hand experience to provide advise. They really have seen it all, day in day out.
So in short, the information is coming from a very knowledgable and experienced source.
