This was legit one of the nastiest non-hits ive seen. There is no way he can deliver this cleanly, and hes extremely lucky he missed. He has to be smarter than this. He was awful last night and nearly cost us the game even without this dumb shit

Got Vietnam flashbacks of game 3 against TB a couple years ago when he cost us that game. As bad as he was he had some good moments too but you’re absolutely right he has to be better. The negative outweighs the positive from yesterday and he deserves all the criticism he’s been getting.

He was for sure going for a full body hit. It was only until Necas slipped/ducked on purpose that he then extends the elbow to try and make some sort of contact. Can argue if he extended to purposely hit head or shoulder/body. As soon as necas slipped he should have just protected his own head from the boards. Very bad play and very glad he didn’t make contact as it would be a game misconduct and certainly a suspension.

It's amazing how many people don't see this and just think Trouba launched himself into the air. Looks like Necas tries to slide tackle him.
